Your homework for next Tuesday is to rewrite the mock essay!
Remember mock means: to treat with ridicule. I do not want to see any serious essay subjects and no real reference in the Works Cited page, just invented references in the right MLA format.
You need to make sure you have:
• Short (direct) quotation
• Long (direct) quotation (correctly placed into a “quote block”)
• Paraphrase from an outside source
• An introduction with a hook, background information, and an underlined thesis statement
• Works Cited page using the correct MLA format—should include a citations from at least four sources—one website, one book, one newspaper or magazine article, and one online database.
